The 25th Infantry Division Reuion

San Diego, California was the host site for this year's reunion. According those who frequent these events, this year was one of the smallest in attendance with approximately 60 veterans along with 44 wives and relatives. We had a showing of 11 veterans from 2-12th. Hotel accomodations and excursions out into the San Diego area were well attended. We visited the U.S.S. Midway aircraft carrier, a Nimitz class ship that was in service from 1945 until she was decomissioned in 1992. She saw a brief service in the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1966 when she was decomissioned for a four year overhaul. She returned to Vietnam in 1975 in time for the fall of Saigon. She served in the Persian Gulf War in 1990. Note: Photos are only of 2-12th vets plus group shots of rest of attendees.
