Reunion 57 A-2-12 vets
Most of the material below, both news articles and photographs, is from a collection I rescued from Dau Tieng in 1970 and forwarded to the 25th Infantry Association in late 1999. The material eventually found it's way to Alpha Association President, Bill Comeau. The Alpha Association consists of veterans of Alpha Company 2/12 Infantry who shipped over to Vietnam from Ft Lewis, Washington, or who joined the Company during it's first year in Vietnam. Bill was generous enough to scan the material and forward it to me for this site. I have not, in most cases, captioned the images, since they are either self explanatory or I can't identify the content. When possible I have captioned them.
" I direct your attention to the first picture below. It is of the 4th Infantry troops looking at the coast of Vietnam from their transport. Ron Fazio, who has a page on this site was the last member of the 2/12 in Vietnam. As the HHC company clerk he was the last man to sign the roster ending the unit's presence in Vietnam. We come full circle. Signed, Bill Comeau"
