The BDE Aviation Section supplied the battalion s C&C ship(Command and Control ship). Early on, the C&C
Ship was a UH-1 Huey slick configured with several radios. Latter, the Huey was replaced by a Loach (OH-6A
helicopter) with the specialized Command Net radio installation.
