I am looking for my Uncle. I know he was First Lieutenant infantry platoon leader in Hue Feb 3,4 1968 Company B, 2d Battalion, 12th Cavalry, 3d Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division.
I have not seen or heard from him in over 20 years. Last known location was San Diego CA.
Any help would be wonderful.

My dad's name is Tom Marshall. I am his daughter, Renee Marshall Hensley. My dad is 73 years old and lived in Peppertown, IN during the war. He was drafted and served during 1966-1967. He fought in Dau Tieng, Vietnam. He was in the 25th Infantry, 3rd Brigade, C-Company, 3rd Platoon. He has always talked about his friends and wondered what happened to them after Vietnam. In particular, he has talked about a man named Bill Quick. I strongly desire to find my dad's buddy and others that he served with. Both were infantry. If you can help me in any way, I would really appreciate it.

 I served in Bravo 2/12th around that time I was wounded by a snipper after recoup I returned to the company and later left to go on R&R but never returned because of having contracted two types of malaria, so I was unable to get any names off my fellow vets.

Hi ,I was trying to locate soldiers who might have served with PFC James J. McCarthy of Brooklyn , N.Y.,who was kia 7/23/1967 by an errant USAF airstrike in Binh Duong Province ,while on infantry operations a few kilometers outside Dau Tieng .I have located his sister Kathleen and she asked me to try and locate soldiers who may have know him? Thanks!

 I do remember when this happened, it’s foggy don’t remember the details. I was there, the CO called in an air strike while we were under fire. The area was heavy trees and we could not tell where the fire was coming. But had a general direction. I believe there were 2 Air Force jets flying extremely low, scary low and they where over our position seems like just a couple of minutes after requesting an air strike, it was fast. All I remember was the loud jet engines passing very low followed by the explosion followed by the radios call for a medic. Within a couple more minutes the medevac chopper was there. That’s all I can remember. I really wish you well and this does help

 My Step-Father was A/2/12 infantry Satoru "Lenny" Leonard Hayashida (RIP agent orange related pancreatic cancer). Fought 1st. Battle Loc Ninh Oct. 67 (awarded "V" device accomodation for valor in that battle, injured in F.F. incident Nov. 28, 67.
I dont know much about his time he would NEVER talk about it.
